Axis Sound is a full-service professional recording space operating out of a funky, old Victorian house in Upper Manhattan. For 18 years Axis Sound has been a one-stop shop for bands, record labels and singer-songwriters looking to record, mix, produce or arrange their music to the highest level. Axis Sound combines the best of state-of-the-art Pro Tools HD and Apogee Converters with a delicious assortment of classic and vintage outboard gear and instruments. Whether you are coming in with your ideas fully formed, or you have a song and a vocal and you need us to fully produce your project - or anything in between - you can do it all here. Services include production, full band recording, drum tracking, overdubs, vocal recording, mixing, mastering, voiceover, podcast production and editing. The studio is run by producer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Steve Rossiter.
